6.   Best Wind Power Developer State
(Total Installations — 1st prize only)

The Best Wind Power Developer State FY 2006-07 and FY 2007-08 Award is being instituted with the intention of recognizing the contribution of state governments in the promotion of the growth of wind power sector. The Awards Jury will take a decision based on the information provided by State Nodal Agencies.

Qualifying Criteria

• All states with commissioned wind power capacity during FY 1 April 2006 -31 March 2007 and 1 April 2007 - 31 March 2008 can apply.
