7.  Best Wind Power Developer State
(Percentage Increase— 1st prize only)

The Best Wind Power Developer State for FY 2006-07 and 2007-08 award is being instituted with the intention of recognizing the contribution of state governments in the promotion of the growth of wind power sector. The Awards Jury will take a decision based on the information provided by State Nodal Agencies.

Qualifying Criteria

• All states with commissioned wind power capacity during FY 2006-07 and 2007-08. Percentage growth in the annual installations will be considered.
   

• Minimum 25 MW should have been commissioned during 2006-2008 period in the state.
