5.   Best Wind Power Financier   (1st and 2nd prize)

The Best Wind Power Financier for FY 2006-07 and FY 2007-08 award is being instituted with the intention of recognizing the contribution of the banks and financial institutions to the promotion of the growth of wind power sector. The Awards Jury will take a decision based on the information provided by eligible banks and financial institutions. 

Qualifying Criteria

·      All public sector banks and financial institutions and their subsidiaries in India.

·      All private sector banks with operations in India including foreign banks registered and operating in India.

·      Banks/financial institutions must have funded minimum of 3 wind power projects irrespective of their size, during FY 2006-07 and 2007-08.

·      80% weightage will be given to total amount disbursed, while 20% weightage will be for total amount sanctioned.
