11.   Special Institution Recognition Award 2008

The award is being instituted to accord recognition to the government institution/s (Under Central/State government, their undertakings, and subsidiaries other than State Nodal Agencies and Electricity utilities/boards); who have positively contributed to the cause of progress of wind power sector through structured research and development initiatives in the wind power sector in India.

Qualifying Criteria

·      Institutions having existence of minimum three years as on 1 April 2008.

·      The research and development work carried out during the last 10 years in India.

·      Impact of work carried out on actual development/growth of the wind power sector in India.
